Most data projects use whiteboards and Visio to create specifications for complex ETL applications but until now there has been no easy way to get those requirements from the whiteboard to a utility that just runs the drawings, skipping the system level translation and programming steps. Mozart is that utility.

The Mozart methodology brings encapsulation principles to data integration projects supporting a top-down application development in a manner that eliminates scope-creep and project failure.

Applications are developed using Visio and the Mozart engine manages and runs all Visio application ETL artifacts in a distributed, recoverable, and fault tolerant manner. It will manage any ETL from IBM Datastage to Oracle PL/SQL.
